Used by the International Energy Agency (IEA) during the energy management workshop on the network among IoT devices,
this product features excellent power measurement functions, particularly, active/standby power consumption pattern analysis,
and presents ways to save energy by measuring and monitoring a variety of power related parameters,
including active/standby power consumption of electric appliances that are unnecessarily wasting electricity,
electric charges based on monthly and annual power consumption based on pattern analysis, and carbon emissions.
With the adoption of a plug & play method, it allows you to view four major power measurement items
simultaneously upon plugging into a universal multi-tap.
The use of the data logging function and GUI program will facilitate the preparation of power consumption pattern analysis
and verification reports.
Gui Program and RS22 communication compatible
Embedded Data Logger: (optional) data may be saved using internal memory instead of external USB or SD card
Precise measurements of low power and low powerfactors
Time settings when making measurements of wattage
Easy plug & play measurements
Excellent readability of LCD and simultaneous measurements of four items, including V, A, W and Hz
Switch between two different types of electric charge (domestic, industrial)
Compliance with KS C IEC 62301 Standard for standby power measurements
Acquired Performance Certification, World Class Product certificate, Procurement Excellence certificate, CE, FCC certificate
Performance accredited by the international testing agency “Interteck” based in UK
Selected by the official wattage of the “SELINA Project” in Europe
Invited for demonstration at the International Standby Power Conference in Australia, India, and Japan
Participated in the Standby Korea 2010 National Roadmap Project

1. Upon applying the power supply, plug the source device
into the multi-tap on the bottom right corner.
2. Push the Display button to change the mode to Watt hour (Wh).
3. Push the Wh TIME SET button to set the saving time
(00 through 24 hours)
4. Measuring of the watt hour (Wh)
begins upon pushing the Wh RUN/STOP button.
5. “Energy” will be displayed in the top right corner
of the screen and measuring of the watt hour (Wh) begins.
6. Upon completion of watt hour integration calculation,
push the Display button to change the mode to CO2 emissions.
7. Check the CO2 emissions in association with the watt hours measured.
8. Push the DISPLAY button to change the mode to electric charge.
9. If you want to measure the power of another device,
This is available in the measurement of standby power and constant consumption power.
Push the HOLD button in the effective power display mode and push the DISPLAY button.
Next, the estimated electricity consumption, electric charges, and CO2 emissions will be displayed
on a monthly and annual basis as illustrated below.
(various power analysis functions)
The Wattman offers two power data collection and analysis functions: PC program-based and Data logger-based.
Functional enhancement along with new functions added
Integrated change from HPM-100 Viewer to “Wattman Viewer”
(compatible with the existing viewer dependent upon product settings)
A variety of improvements have been made, including enhanced reliability against exceptions
such as communication error while collecting data,
display of data collection time, and promoting ease of use such as introduction of icons.
New functions are offered, including wattage control button, discrete mode (individual collection mode)
Real Time Graph & All Data Table with Statistic
Display of dedicated graphs for data collected on a real time basis,
and statistical values such as real time data table, minimum, maximum, average, CO2 emissions, and estimated monthly values.
Data Table adopts the All Data Table method to display all collected data.
Data collection environment settings and automatic file saving
You may configure a variety of data collection parameters,
including collection interval, file name, total collection time, unit, C)2, and electric charge.
Upon completion of collection, you may automatically save it with a preset file name in a format compatible
with Microsoft Excel.
This opens a file and displays minimum, maximum, average, CO2 emissions, and estimated monthly values on the data table.
It also draws graphs for V, I, W, Wh, PF, Hz, and cost data.
You may move and resize the graphs, facilitating quick and precise interpretations, and report preparation as well.
A rapid industrial development is usually accompanied by an increase in CO2,
environmental contamination and global warming at an alarming rate.
Furthermore, the nuclear disaster in Fukushima, Japan necessitates energy savings.
Energy savings is referred to as the fifth energy.
All stakeholders, including government,
local autonomous bodies and people should actively engage in the energy saving campaign.
Domestic Usage
Supermarkets in various European countries measure active/standby power consumption
using the Wattman, and use the data to come up with appropriate energy policies.
Oversea Usage - IEA Subsidiary Agencies
Wattman has been invited to demonstrate its functions and usage in the International Standby Power Conference.
Energy Policy Research School, Environment Pilot School, Energy Savings Pilot School and elementary schools
The International Energy Agency has already presented a guideline for standby power of a mobile phone
up to 30 mW with stars attached depending on the level of energy efficiency,
potentially expanding its application to other electric/electronic devices.
